4-year PhD position in Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning – ERC Advanced Grant HIDTECH (Barcelona)

We are looking for a motivated PhD candidate with a background in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or related quantitative fields to join the ERC Advanced Grant HIDTECH – Revealing Hidden Innovations: Gendered Work and Perishable Technologies in Prehistory at IMF-CSIC, Barcelona. The PhD will develop and apply AI/ML methods to quantitative 3D surface texture data obtained by confocal microscopy.

Candidates should be eligible for enrolment in a PhD programme and registered as residents in Catalonia.

Location: IMF-CSIC Barcelona
